BRISTOL CASTLE 7013

BRISTOL CASTLE 7013

Bristol Castle – 7013
Set in the 1950s, Bristol Castle pulls the Cheltenham Flyer from London to Cheltenham.  This film documents the journey the train takes in a fictionalised account, stopping to take in several notable landscapes along the way. Using Stop Animation, Tom Jordan experiments with texture, colour and sound to give an affectionate tribute to the excitement provoked by this masterpiece of railway engineering.  The characters include a self-cameo and a nod to a recently departed friend.
